How many spiritual people here believe this? I'm getting a lot of signs in a particular situation I have, but am still unsure. Is it all from God or am I just more in tune and subconsiously "looking" for things??
Honest, truthful answers please. Thanks!

God gives us fre will, meaning we are free to go against his wishes for our life. I think that if you are getting signs, you should earnestly pray and tell God you feel led this way, and it's the way you're going unless you get a big sign not to. We shouldn't test God, but it's reasonable. God doesn't talk with a booming voice, of course. :-) He suggests. If you think it's God, and he's not asking you to do anything against scripture, it probably is.

Good luck.

I get them all the time, but it's usually shoves, turns and twists.

Once God made me turn my head to the left and I saw this girl and after 3 1/2 years I'm still not sure why he brought us together, limited as that situation is.

We are similar in some things and polar opposites in others. Some things I do she laughs at , some things she does I laugh at.

She's an apocolyptic rapturist born again christian libertarian with a right to keep and bear arms sticker on her car.

I'm a trying to understand and follow Jesus type person who doesn't subscribe to organized religion and tries to avoid a fight, certainly not one with a gun.

When we sit across from other religious people and there is a debate I provide paraphrase answers, she qoutes scriptures and finishes my sentences. Ususally while she's engrossed in doing something entirely different like writing a note to someone not there.

This is just one of the many situations God has let me walk into blindly, without a word, just a turn of my head to see the mop of hair on her knees doing hard work and I said, who is that person working so hard. I must find out more.

Then I spend two weeks trying to place a face and name with the hair, but her hair changes daily.

Eventually I figure her out and eventually she calls me over to her table and starts a conversation.

You are absolutely correct!! God does send us signs on what he wants us to do now and then. Firstly, to signal HIS presence and secondly to remind us that we are here for a reason. You say that u are getting a lot signs in a particular situation, so there must be something!! Ur mind is definately not tuned into some radio station!!

We live in the country in a nice place and have five wonderful children. I had a very strong feeling we needed to move to the city. I did not know why but just knew we had to move. I told my husband and we made the move. A week after we made the move a person came to us and asked us to adopt her child. We did and it has worked out wonderfully. We are back in the country now but are out west instead of the east as both my husband and I felt God wanted us out here. So off we went not knowing where we were going to end up but believing that God would let us know when it was right. He did.

Nobody sends you any 'signs'. If you are actively looking for signs though, you will find them even if they aren't really there. It's just like the 'satanic messages in backwards music' issue. Even if there are no messages you will still be able to hear them if someone tells you they're there. One of my Psychology professors recorded himself reading the 23rd Psalm and then played it backwards. He found one spot that sounded like "I love Satan". Now when he tells his students to listen for that phrase, everyone hears it. I'm sure whoever made up the Bible didn't put that there as a sign!

This is my answer as honestly and straight-forward as I can give it. I hope you get my point.

Really this answer only applies to you is you have accepted Christ as your personal savior....assuming that you have...I think you need to be very serious in your asking, praying that God will direct you in making a decision. No experience or "sign" will ever come from God that contradicts His Word. I had a lady tell me that she felt like God was telling her she needed to leave her husband. I asked her is he was unfaithful, she said no. I asked her is he was abusive, she said no. She just wasn't happy any more. Well, that contradicts God's word. So it is not the Lord telling her to leave her husband. My huband and I visited Texas from Michigan, and even though it was not a trip that we had planned, his job gave it to him as a reward. We both started to feel like God was laying on our heart to move there. Well, we prayed that God would show us if that was what we wanted...and we in four years were ready when he received a transfer to Texas! You see yes I believe God will guide and direct you, but don't forget that there are other forces out there too, that can pretend to be God, and try to make you believe it is God....so just really pray, be in His Word, and wait on Him to reveal Himself clearly to you. If you have the Holy Spirit inside of you I think not doing what God wants you to do will leave you feeling unsettled...and the same for doing something that isn't in God's plan for you. A lot of times you just got to step out on faith!

I think if you read your Bible, you will know what to do in life. I know what you mean though. Sometimes I do feel like I getting a sign from above to tell me a certain path to take in life.

You are right. We all have choices, but God is ultimately in control. He will point you in the right path once you ASK Him to and trust Him to lead and guide you. You have to have faith that He will take you where you need to go in life.

God bless!

In Genises Satan gives Eve a dream and eventually gets her to eat of the tree of which she was forbidden. Just like you get dreams and signs from God.... Satan also throws things out there that look good but are not.. They are traps. You just have to pray about it and have that inner feeling I guess. You should know if it is of God. And when God does show us something he wants.... we are not obligated to do it. We control our fate =)

i think everything is written, we have free will but G-d knows all our movements. there are signs that we want to see, or they are there for us. for example. the dreams. maybe are the reflect of what we saw in the day, sometimes are thinks that we want, fear, etc. and sometimes are things that G-d wants us to see. what you are seeing is maybe a sign or maybe not. find it out.
