Sometimes you have to take a stepback and see what is going on. You sometimes have to evaluate the situation. If you really care about someone sometimes you have to pull back and allow them to be happy. The boyfriend situation is a messy area to get into. Ok if you proceed and tell her how you feel it more than likely will not go well since she will see you as trying to get her to cheat and you will lose out completely. Be a friend and be a good one and see how things turn out, but try to avoid putting any uncomfortable pressure on her to do anything. More than likely if you do anything it will blow up in your face.

Well, like someone already said. If she's happy with her current boyfriend, you should step back. If you don't really have a way to know that, become her friend. Being friends with her will help you develop some sort of bond. If she truly really is happy though, you should back off.
With the age difference it depends on her. If it's more than four years it might be a problem for you guys if she a minor but if she's an adult. I don't see a problem in the age.

How big of a age difference is it? Don't crowd her if she has a boyfriend that may lessen your chances if you have one of maybe one day being with her. But age shouldn't matter and don't give up you may never know

Depends how old you are and how much you care about her. Cause to be honest, there ARE other fish in the sea...who's to guarantee that even if you DO overcome all these obstacles, that you two would actually work out. It's just too much hassle and not worth the effort.

#1 If you care about her... You find out if she's happy with her boyfriend, if she is then you take a step backwards simply because if you care about her... you won't be an obstacle to her happiness.

#2 Not sure about the gap between the man's age and hers but... that's up to her...

yes, too many obstacles. Is she happy with her boyfriend? Does the age difference matter to her? Has she done or said anything to make you believe she may want you?? I don't think you provided enough info

If the age difference is extreme.....let's say 7 years or higher, the chances of you two being a good match is slim...

but if it's less...you'll have to decide if she's worth waiting for...

Depends. If she likes you and is willing to give up her boyfriend then don't give up. BUT if she only sees you as a good friend then yes you do have to give up. Good Luck!!!
