About 14 or 15 is a good age. My parents didn't let me date until I was 17 and a half. I had no experience dating at all, so it wasn't a great experience.

I think that arranged marriages take away the problem of teenagers being so wound up about dating and wasting their energies on something as useless as choosing a mate they'll probably divorce anyway. It might just as well be random as your parents choosing your mate for how bad people are at marriage. That's just a thought to consider.

I started dating the summer after 7th grade. Nothing very serious. I think the bottom line is whether the person is ready to date or not. My 14 year old niece has always had a boyfriend while my 18 year old nephew has had only a few first dates and only now has a girlfriend. Everyone is different.

Pave your own way!

I think 17 or 18 is a good time to start dating, or whenever you move out of your parents' house and have to live on your own. At that point, I think, you're ready for the responsibilities of life and dating. You've graduated from high school, and you're ready to start out in the "real world." You're usually more mature and can think reasonably. I think it's good to be single and free for a while, though. It's been fun.

I'd have to say 14 - but not serious relationships. More or less to learn what it's like to be in one, to learn from your mistakes, you can figure out what you really want in a relationship and guy/girl. So that way by the time you're older you'll know this, and can consider getting into a serious relationship. I'm not saying that you're gonna know everything about relationships when you consider them, because everyday is a learning experience...but you'll know a little more. You know what I mean? I hope this helps, and take care!

if u want it to be serious then it's when u r 21 it's perfect...and if not then 17 is ok...i'm 22 and i'm advicing u to wait till 21 to make the right choice n to not spend and waist time with those who doesnt deserve u and who will break ur heart...but if u r curious about the feeling of having a date then ok start from now but take care and dont give himm all what he desires from u...plz take care they are all bustards n will make u suffer...wish u the best of luck in ur love life...

16/17, because your more emotionally equipped to handle responsibility and any traumatic break up. Serious dating should be left till your around 19/20
