I'm sure everyone heard by now, but in England they stopped a terrorit attempt to blow up 20 planes in the air over various cities including 8 in the USA.
THIS THREAT DOES NOT MEAN WE HAVE TO GIVE UP SOVERIENGTY.

The alleged terrorists were caught before boarding any planes - it is alleged they had some kind of liquid bomb which meant all flights were on hold and all passengers held up at the airports. This affected Ireland and the USA. The alleged terrorists are still being questioned although I heard recently that one has been released without charges being made. I believe from the news that there were twelve planes being targeted.
If you go onto www.bbcnews.com you should be able to get the English news site this will give you a much better insight.
We have been lucky. These people were british born (it's not the first time an english youth has joined forces with terrorists - I call it being brain washed). I hope our countries stay safe and cannot praise the police enough for their ongoing efforts.

Yes this could have been devistating again to America and the UK. The attempts were well thwarted and the terrorists are in custody. The last report was there were 12 planes and they were over the ocean when they were to be detonated!!! This attempt happened months before, however, only one passanger was killed. That is why this time they decided to mix the chemicals on board!!!

No, I didn't see or hear about this. Was it terrorists that were caught in the UK before they were able to carry out their terrorism? I am just guessing by what you posted here.
