the rest home that i work for has informed me that the ladies have scabies. we are all getting lotion that is suppose to cure it in one dose? i am not sure if that is correct. my question is this, can that work and if so what happens if you sweat a lot (its 95 degrees here even at 1am) will that make it not work? silly question i know but i dont want to keep this.

If this is a prescription lotion, yes, it works in one dose. The lotion is applied and left on for 8 to 24 hours and then washed off. Please note: non-prescription treatments do NOT work! Don't worry about the sweating...most skin medications are made based on the fact that our bodies sweat. Things should be fine and remember, that you can always treat a second time if you have any residual scabies.
