I'm assuming since you're a guy asking this question that you have some sort of problem with it and feel socially outcasted or in some way less manly since you don't drink.
If that's the case, then there is no way to explain to you why we love it, you just need to go and see for yourself.
If, on the other hand, you are speaking for the male population and are wondering yourself, why you and guys like you like to drink and get drunk then I again can't answer. It's not something you can explain, why do you like the taste of pizza? You just do.

FACT to you know all mammals have to get to a "buzz" or "high" state of mind elephants hit there heads on trees to get the feeling.We just got alcohol, and some other things to get there.
Not only guys like to drink also FACT.
IF your are little bit older a can drink you will understand what is it about.

It's an accepted way to totally make a fool of yourself.
I know guys who have ruined their lives with booze. It
shouldn't be as widely accepted. The liquor/beer/wine
people make too much money on it off the average guy
so they market it as the magic potent to make you sexy
to sexy models who wouldn't give them the time of day.
It's all about money. Them taking it from you. It's about
time we made something other than hanging around the
old water hole popular. It's not cool to be drunk.
Drinking is just too risky these days.

Because guys hate reality. Most guys were abused as children and prefer to live in their sterile little dream world of TV or drunkenness or drug heaven. When they are presented with the opportunity to enjoy their family, they run and shut themselves out as not to relive their childhood hurts.
Or they are hardwired to ;breed and spread their seed and when thats done they dissociate. Weirdos.
Theres so much to love about being alive and in reality. Guys dont get it because they are just plain unempathetic.

gives them an excuse to stupid cauz then they can say it was cauz they were drunk for what ever they do that upsets you,
and wemen drink and get drunk too me i enjoy doing this if my childeren are not at home just to hang or loosen up some frome the week past

because you let go of your inhibitions when your drunk and it can be easier and more enjoyable to socialise this way
people shouldn't need to drink to socialise, but it does make it easier for some

Because you can do the most idiotic, inane, outrageous, morally wrong and degrading thing...and in the morning you just blame it on alcohol. Everyone just nods and smiles 'cause they've been there just like you have and they're just glad it was you this time and not them!!!!
