Is Powerpoint the best way to create a "how to" manual that will be either online or on the computer?

Want to do an online or at least "on the computer" training manual. It'll be for new hires to quickly learn the way to do things. It will include pictures and links to other programs and sites. Thanks!

PowerPoint is a great application for manuals and training slideshows. We used it all the time in Education and Training in former role.

As far as pictures, it's perfect. Plenty of room and choices, but it may take some time to open for people with sluggish systems.

As far as manuals and new employee orientation, you are right on!
