doskey,
Not for a while. A long while if the Bible is true and I am interpreting it right.
There has to be a few time periods before the end of the world. We haven't yet gone through the Great Tribulation. From the sound of it, it will be like the end of the world, but it won't be the end of the world. Still many many people will die during those 7 years.
And then there is the Millenium, 1000 years where Jesus rules and reigns on the Earth. So it's not the end of the world to worry about, it's the Great Tribulation. but if you are saved, you won't even have to worry about that! So then the thing to be worried about, is when you are going to accept Christ( maybe you have, maybe you haven't) . Jesus has all authority over heaven and earth, and He is supposed to take His church out of the Wrath of God poured out upon the earth.
The time is near.

I don't know when, but yes the end of the world will happen! So I think we should all live like that day will be tomorrow! How ever you see fit to do this! I personally am a Christian so I try to live everyday like Jesus will come back tomorrow!

This is the best answer you can get......
What you should be worrying first is the end of your life. The end of the world is possible but i doubt you still live in that future time. So be sure you live a good life, clock's ticking as you are reading this answer.

My brothers in law assure me that in several billion years our solar system will collide with another, the sun will change radically, the moon will drift away from the earth and stop rotational variation that causes seasons allowing life as we know. It may end sooner for humans if we get hit by a big asteroids or we cook ourselves with global warming.

I think there will be an end to the world as we know it. It says in the Bible there will be a new heaven and a new earth. No more pain and no more evil.

Eventually. The world will slow down it's rotation, the orbit will become unstable, and/or the sun will go nova. As for the human race...all things come to an end. It just seems that we (collectively) are hastening the process.

I think it's pretty obvious by now, isn't it? You would have to assume the end of the world is probable, unless of course you've never left your rock. If nothing else, our atmosphere will be rendered incapable of protecting us. Do I think it will be tomorrow? Well, no...in fact, I don't think anyone who is alive now will see it, nor will our ancestors for several generations. It will be a while...but it will happen.
