I have been reading up on the history of the kidnapping and murder, and it all seems so planned. I have known about this part of American history since high school, I heard a refrence to it on a tv show and thought it would be fun to look it up. I was surprised at the questionable actions by family and police. It doesn't add up. Was the father ever questioned? To me, he seems right for the job.

I don't think the father was ever considered a suspect at the time. In those days someone in his position was probably above suspicion.

I agree ... the case makes for very interesting reading. Maybe Cold Case Files will take it on someday.
