The gruesome truth about sex education in public schools is that they explain the mechanics involved and leave out the intimacy, love, passion, spiritual communion, beauty and fun. It's hard to differentiate the experience they describe from that of a bowel movement for two.
The reason they do this is to discourage you from finding out for yourself what the truth is. Too bad, because ignorance can lead to extremely painful consequences.
On the other hand, it's no worse or better than watching porn. When adults are so ignorant and uptight about sex, it makes it very hard for kids to find out.

I think the main details are the difference between men and women(penis and vagina) and how they work. Many of these things should be coevred in Biology. Sex Education is basically just expanding on how babies are made, what std's are, how it feels to experience puberty, and what changes you should expect in your body and your mind when you face puberty. Most of this you will probably have experienced by now. This is mainly things like growning pubic hair, getting breasts, having wet dreams(for males), experiencing attraction (sexually), and other changes in your body. If this has not been taught in your school lessons, and you are curious, you might want to ask your parents.

well what do want to know i am 16 and still find it disgusting but just remember that if you are going to have sex it could be painful for the first time for girls. (i am a virgin) so that is what i hear. and make sure your guy wears a condom when he puts his penis in you because you could have an unplanned pregnancy
