Wax it off. Don't they have meds for the condition you got? I know there are creams that reduce hair growth you can use after you wax. Ask a dermotologist.

I have PCOS too. I have tried waxing and it seems to work really well. I was afraid of the thought at first, but I tried it and actually found it pretty helpful. It didn't come back worse than before and now I have found that I can actually get away with some nair. But, as I believe you know, it is different with every person. I would recommend waxing if the at home stuff hasn't been working. Since you say that it is very light, it is a personal decision. If it would make you feel better to take care of it, you should just for the fact that it would make you feel better. My sister says she can never see mine, but I never believe her, so I always do something about it because I feel better for doing it. I hope this helps and I understand.

Just get it waxed. Nothing wrong with that. IF you do it yourself then do it in the evening cause your lip might swell and i don't think you would want to be walking around with a swollen red upper lip. after you wax clean it with alcohol and then put some facial cream on your face. No oils for they will make you break out with pimples. Then as the hairs start growing back just pluck them. You will still do the wax every two to three weeks. I have been waxing for 17 years and i am fine. Just remember no oils after waxing. You can buy wax stripes for the face in a normal shop.

You can wax the hair on your upper lip, I have the same problem, I tried creams but all of them gave me a painful rash. So I tried to wax the hair, is painful the first couple of times, bur after a while the hair gets thinner and is better to wax it. No so painful like the first 2 of 3 times. Do not shave it, that will make the hair grow faster and thicker, we don't want a masculine mustache!!!! Noooooo.

Good Luck dear!

I would recomend waxing it. You would be amazed at how much better your makeup will go on. The hair will eventually come back finer thinner and lighter! Do not use nair or anything like that. You get a chemical burn from that. If I were you I would wax all your problem areas!

You know what? I never thought I had lip hair until I went to get my eyebrows done and the lady slapped some wax on my lip!! I was so surprised and now because of her, I have to get it waxed!!! I suggest waxing, over time (like mine) the hairs get lighter and finer and in some cases stop growing altogether!

I think wax would be about the best thing to get rid of it. I do it sometimes and it does not look worse when it grows back. Waxing is a little hard on your skin if your skin is sensitive, but you do not have to get it done that often.

You could try electrolysis for a permanent removal of the hair. This way, you'd never need to worry about it again.

Most professional waxers are great at getting that upper lip hair gone, without hurting you too badly.

I went to a dermatologist today for the same problem, go ahead and wax it off and get a cream that stops the hair growth.
