My mother is a great cook and her specialty is brownies. My Grandmother was sick and in the hospital, and requested a batch from my mother. My Mother and I took them down to the hospital, and with the nurse's permission, brought the brownies in for Grandma. The nurse told us the brownies were something Grandma had been looking forward to all week along. When we got to her room, she was asleep. Mom told me to wait with the brownies until Grandma awoke. Well she just wouldnt wake up- and I kept eating the brownies, one by one, and before I knew it they were all gone. Grandma woke up and was upset I ate them all, and I yelled back at her- explaining she was taking too damn long to wake up. My mother promised we would drive down the following week with more brownies, but my Grandma died the next day. My mom now blames me for ruining Grandma's last chance at tasting her brownies. Im 20 years old and its not my fault I got hungry waiting for Grandma to wake up! Not my fault she died either.

Your very insensitive to what your mother is going through and you shouldn't have eaten all the brownies. though you are not at fault for your grandmother dying you should have used more sense. Very selfish and immature. Your mother is probably not as mad about the brownies but your total lack of respect, caring and maturity. i bet she is more disappointed in you as a person then anything else.

Sorry for your loss but no you should not have eaten the Brownies. You should not have yelled at your Grandmother there is a thing called respect especially when you knew they were for her, did the hospital not have a cafeteria or a snack machine? You will have ths one to deal with for the rst of your life, mostly with your mom, that was Grandmas last chance to sample the Bronies even if she ate only one. Cant believe your 20 yrs old you sound more like your 10.

No it is not your fault your grandmother died. It is your fault she did not get the brownies that were meant for her.
If your grandmother was upset, then you must have known that it was one maybe last gesture of love from your mother,,
you remind me of little lred ridding hood, but you were the wolf,, (just kidding) I THINK THAT YOU CAN DO SOMETHING KIND to honor your grandmother, maybe make some brownies, and take them to a senior hospital, and give them to some sweet lonely old lady, and just say, hi.. and here is a gift for you.. (and please don't eat even one) AND do this in hyour grandmas memory.. then you will make someone happy, and be a better person,

WOW that's one Crazy story lol I'm sorry about your loss. I don't think it was your fault since you wee hungry and had the munchies for some brownies. Hey she wouldn't wake up. I'm surprised she did not wake up with the fresh smell of baked brownies. That must mean she didn't really want any. Anyways the only thing you should of not done was lose your temper by yelling back at her. Like you said it's not your fault she died early to and I think your mom should understand that to. Well anyways next time your mom cooks brownies make sure that she makes an extra batch for you only.
Ciao~

And I thought you are 10 years old until the last statement.

It is not your fault that you get hungry. It is not your fault that she died.

But it is YOUR FAULT to eat the brownies which are FOR HER.

Come on, your grandma was dying yet you still have the mood to eat? I don't know what to say.

you're 20 and also you're asking no matter if you've been incorrect in eating all the tarts.??? You sound like a spoilt brat (except it truly is a shaggy dog tale) No its no longer your fault that she died besides the undeniable fact that it is your fault that she did not get any tarts! merely examine your different questions.... you getting your questions from a sport said as scruples or something? LOL

Aww...Sad! Well, I don't think u should've ate them all. It wasn't ur grandma's fault she took a long time 2 wake up. People always want to point the finger @ someone else when a person dies. It wasn't ur fault she died.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but it's a funny story you made me laugh. Don't worry about your Grandma she's in better place now and she's eating all the brownies she wants. As for your Mom tell her not to make them so good and that it was also her fault for not making enough. Good Luck!
