they feed grapes and/or strawberry to the lemons than they read sad sad stories to them and they start crying pink (caused by the grapes and berries) and so you get pink lemonade

Pink lemonade is pink because they add pink food coloring to regular lemonade. That is the only difference. While it became popular in the 1950's, it may have originated during prohobition, when people were often looking for ways to make the beverages on their tables more interesting.

Well I just asked a friend of mine and he said "Some guy washed his tights in a bucket of water and then another guy came back later and used that water to make lemonade." I don't think I'll be drinking pink lemonade for a while, lol.

Though today I'm sure that they use food coloring becausing it wouldn't be lemonade if it had any other fruit in it. And that would lead them to false advertising and yada yada yada.

Really interesting story uh?

You add grenadine (mildly alcoholic but very red liquer) to normal lemonade.

Just saw your additional info re cranberries -- not a bad idea. But if you want to keep the taste completely 'lemony', I'd go with the grenadine.

:o)
