Sorry, I don't know any big box stores that sell them at 2700 mAh.

I've had really good luck with them. They have a big selection of batteries and they might be able to direct you to a local merchant.

The 2500 mAh batteries have greater miliamps which means you will get greater utilization from them incredibly then the different battery with in basic terms 2450 mAh.. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is going to in basic terms make a small, small distinction .. you will get approximately 15 -30 minutes greater communicate time from the 2500 mAh battery then the others...

Agree with John S. Thomas Dist. is very good, you can also try www.newegg.com or www.batteryspace.com. Do a Yahoo! search for batteries, there are a lot of sources out there.
