yes, provided he must refrain from certain things and keep them in check example greed which will arise when business people aim for more money because greed can be very dangerous to a person's mind.

I believe so. One time, I heard a sermon about a wealthy factory owner who heard about the plight of people making minimum wages. Being a Christian and knowing the teachings of Jesus Christ about helping the poor, he formed a special task force to find out how much it would cost for his employees to live comfortably. He then raised the pays accordingly.
So it may not be easy to do, but it is possible.

Otherwise, you have to conclude that a "true spiritual follower" is a self destructive act, perhaps even suicidal.

If you are referring to all the lying, scheming, cheating, manipulating, that is done in business, then I would say that it would be extremely hard to walk the straight and narrow. One must evaluate which is more important when choosing career fields or positions. One shouldn't contradict the other.

Yes and no. Make sure not to fall for temptaion and don't start to love your money. And also don't cause harm to self or others for (to get) money. Be a good example and take care.
