Well Jesus is God's son, even the Quran acknowledges this, the immaculate conception. But it does throw into doubt something that may offend Muslims.
If the Quran acknowledges the immaculate conception as fact, which it does. Thus meaning Jesus us Gods Son, Also Jesus did say that any prophets following Him (Jesus) would be false. Mohammed followed Jesus and Mohammed did see "something" which was described as an Angel, but this "vision" was underground in a cave and at night. This was Satans doing and many people are following this as fact these days. How can someone argue this ? At night, underground, acknowledged the immaculate conception as divine - raises to many questions that Mecca and the Saudi Government will not answer even after numerous inquiries.
Well everyone knows Mohammeds backround by now. Being a merchant and an acknowleged pedophile (have acknowledged this as fact) by having sex with a 9 year old "wife" and that being his 6th or 7th wife too.
If you just wanna yell and cry about it, then go away. If you wanna have a debate about it I am always open for a good debate. But beware, I am schooled on the Quran / Koran.

God sends all messengers, profits and such. or doesn't. you decide, you all-ready have anyway.
And get over yourself. Anybody can sit around making fun of the fundamentalist scripture thumpers. The real trick, is learning how to live with them.
The beauty of this situation is that you really don't care about the question. You just want to sit there and act like your better than them. Rather than laughing at others beliefs, or trying to tempt them in to saying dumb things, why don't you focus on your own beliefs, or lack there-of? Just a thought anyway.

Both, I think. Though I am not a Muslim, I have read that Islam recognizes Jesus's messiahship and that Mohammed was the greatest prophet (putting a different meaning on Messiahship than what Christians mean by it). Some people are offended by the opinions of others and must be ignored.

As a Christian I believe Jesus was sent by God and is the Son of God sent to lead us out of sin and to go to the Cross for our sins.
I have considered Mohammed. I would say he might be a valid prophet. Perhaps God had something in particular in mind for those to whom he sent Mohammed, however things have gotten very distorted in the time since and the militancy of Islam has caused a lot of problems.
Christianity has not been without a few distortions and has not been without its militants, but I think Islam has been far worse. As far as I can tell Muslims, including the militant ones, are following their prophet.

Yes, both Jesus and Muhammad (peace be on them both) are Prophets of God. Those who follow the true message of both Prophets with sincerity will attain Paradise as deemed appropriate by God. They are only two among the many, many other prophets sent by God.
All prophets brought the word of God and they were true to the message they were given. As is often the case, because we were born with the freedom of choice, they had followers, while there were others who rejected their message ... ie. some chose to listen, some chose to ignore.
Muslims (I am a Muslim) accept and respect both Jesus and Muhammad (peace be on them both) as they both brought the same message of One God. The difference? The book of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has remained unchanged and while that is not the case with the Gospel.
Holy Qur'an, Chapter 2, Verse 285: “...The believers believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, ‘We make no distinction between one another of His Messenger...’"
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one." (Bukhari)
"Nearest of all the people..." means: in time, as Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the only prophet after Jesus (peace be upon him).
Why shouldn't God send human beings like ourselves (okay, Jesus peace be upon him was born without a father and no other human being, except for Adam - who was born without father or mother - was born that way) to be a living, walking example of how life should be lived?
Think about it ... if you sit in math class, and you have no text book, notebooks, nothing and there is no one to teach, guide or show you any examples, do you think that you will be able to solve a quadratic equation? Or differientiate or integrate? Or do any math at all?
Jesus and Muhammad (peace be on them both) are two of the most important human beings who walked this earth. They showed us practical examples of how to live life and gave us the tools, the instructions and guidelines of how to attain God's favour.
They have touched the lives of people since the times in which they lived till now and as long as there are humans on earth, they will be remembered here and revered even in Paradise.
Will anyone remember you or I? Have we changed the hearts and lives of millions?
More than likely not.

JESUS COULD HAVE BEEN A PERSONIFICATION OF A SOUL WHO WAS FOLLOWING THE PATH OF GOD. HE IS SO GOD ENDEARING THAT HE BECAME A LEADER AMONG PEOPLE. A PERSON OF SUCH NATURE MUST SURELY BE CHOSEN BY GOD FOR PROPAGATING THE MESSAGE OF GOD. ALL OF US AT SOME POINT IN TIME DO COME IN CONTACT WITH GOD. WHAT HAPPENS LATER, IE, FOLLOWING OR DETRACTING FROM A SPIRITUAL PATH, DETERMINES OUR CLOSENESS WITH GOD JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE, IE, THE CLOSER WE A RE WITH SOMEONE OR SOMETHING THE MORE INFORMED ARE WE ABOUT THE PERSON OR THING

god had sent jesus to help the world. mohammed was a nut case that his uncle and village threw out as he would run during any conflicts. the quran written about mohammed was after he was over 200 years dead with no records. everyone is sent for a purpose. the world is to be at total war to destroy itself according to the bible. the quran was written to kill any non-believers. one third of the world is muslim. we are at war in over 126 countries. things are just getting worse and its a matter of time before we go all out.

Jesus. Jesus as the Son of God took our sins upon Himself and died for, made atonement for all of them. God demands holiness, sinless, perfection. That's the way God made mankind but man fell into sin (Adam & Eve) fell away from God and mankind has been sinning ever since. God required a blood sacrifice to atone for our sin and from a sinless person. There was no sinless person so Jesus, as Gods sinless Son ,came to earth, lived a sinless life, and made the blood sacrifice on our behalf when He bled and died on the cross. Jesus took upon and into Himself all sin and made atonement for them. We can now be made free from sin and stand before God as the perfect sinless beings that He desires and receive eternal life when this life ends. You will find a love like that, a sacrafice like that, an atonement like that, in no one and nowhere else. Why did God do it? Because He loves us and wants us to have eternal life. To do this, to accomplish this, Jesus came into this life. Just re-read the above and better yet, read the Bible and see for yourself.
