need to get my GED?

can anyone advize me on what i need to do to get my GED ..imma very shy girl .. I never went to high school .. the last grade i completed was 7th im 26 now with a child and not in a secure marriage i need GED so i can get a job and become more dependant on self so i can care for my child .. is there away i can get it online ?? I never got a chance to learn the things i needed to and im emberressed to go to a school for help ..any advice would be greatly appreciated

I hope you will find a way to get your GED. I know the community college in my town has an adult education center that specializes in helping members of my community prepare for and complete their GED.
If you have a community college where you live take a look at their website or give them a call. If not, call your local high school or education service unit. They can tell you about programs in your area. I know the gentleman that runs the program in town and he and his department do not judge, they are there to help you, want to help you and have helped many people in similar situations.
I know its easy for me to tell you not to be embarrassed, but just contact the program in your area and I'm sure you will find you are not alone and they are interested in helping you.

I'm sure there are online programs, just type GED online in the search line and you will find quite a few sites.

Please do not be embarrassed about not having a highschool diploma, and do not pay an on-line site that promises to give you one.

Contact your State Department of Education to receive "free" information about getting your GED.

you can contatc your state education office in your area to learn more about getting a GED. becareful of internet scams saying they can help you get a GED.

u don not need to go to school gets some books and go take the tests u can take them as many times as you want get some practice tests first
