It won't make you sick - in fact, it's best that you keep your fluid intake up so that you can get over your cold sooner. Good that you've had soup and are going to have some orange juice. Both are good and the OJ is a good source of vitamin C which is good for your immune system.

But the soup is salty (most store-bought soups are very high in salt) and the OJ is acidic and has a lot of sugar which will dehydrate you, so make sure you drink plenty of water to flush your system out. You'll be going to the bathroom constantly, but it's the only way to get rid of the cold germs that are making you sick.

good luck and hope you feel better soon. :o)

the only way it would make you sick is if the soup is a cream/milk base, then the orange, because f the acid content, would cause the cream/milk to curdle, then you would have an upset stomach

No orange juice has acid in it, and the soup has oil, acid and oil are a bad mix!
