Can you just wake up one morning and not love someone anymore??? My boyfriend told me on monday he wanted a break, but he still loved me and that everything would be fine in a week or two. I spoke to him yesterday to sort out some rules of this break (today is thursday btw). and he said that he doesn't want a girlfriend (what does that hinestly mean???), and he doesn't love me anymore. can someone fall out of love that quickly, or is he just saying it to try and make me not fight him about this break, cuz he knows i don't want it, and he feels it the only way he can get it????

p.s. he's told me more than once that he wants to break up.. and then turned hourd either hours or days and said that he ****** up and he really loves me and wants to be with me.... do u think it could happen for a 9th time??? that maybe he does still love me and he will regret it???

From what you say you fight him about the breaks....how about trying to take a clean break, since that is what he has been asking many times for? Why would you want to keep someone that really doesn't have their whole heart into it? You aren't going to like this, but that type of love on your part is a selfish one. If you truly care about him and put your feelings aside, you should want him to be happy with or without you. This one time give him the break without any trouble and see what he does....let him decide what he wants by giving him some time to himself. It sounds like he is unsure about his feelings for you and feels guilty hurting yours. Really, you can't want to be with someone just because that's what you want....what is meant to be will be.

it seems if it went 9 times then for you, you gave your nine lives. don't be stuck with this guy if thats all he wants to do is want to break up get back and break up again. he can be playing the single game where he breaks up with you goes out with some other gurl becuz technically your broke up then gets back with you so that he feels he has some lady attached too him. but to answer your question yeah you can really fall out of love for someone very quick as if you can fall in love with another and just fall out from someone.

In my experiences if the guy says he doesn't love you anymore then he never loved you to begin with....that is very hard to hear and it hurts to hear that from someone that you really care about...my suggestion is to go with the break and just block him out of your life because no one deserves that kind of treatment.

I always thought someone broke up with someone else it was for a reason. I would never do an on again off again relationship. They never work out in the end.

haha yea trust me this has happened to me b4..the on and off thing...yea u really should stop cuz its not healthy for ur relationship at all trust me that guy that i did that with . well i hate him and he hates me. like seriusly tho it lasted like 2 years and it was hell dont do it!!and he has no right to tell u that he dosnt love u and then get bak with u i kno that u love him i kno how it feels and its not gana b easy at all. its gana b rele rele hard. but ur gana havta at least try cuz i didnt even try and it was bad haha anyways u can not fall out of love in one night it takes a while...sry

He saw another girl he was interested in, and pursued her. He either A) realized it was a mistake or B) she dumped/rejected him. So he came crawling back to you.
