I mean some read only what they want to in the bible and have never had a relationship with God. Then you have some people that are just way out there in left field. They get caught up in repeating the fake walk with God daily.

I don't think I'd take the chance on anyone who didn't Love the Lord I think he or she should believe the same about what God says pleases him. I know what you mean I messed up and married a Man about 4 years ago who, would get angry that I chose to go to church instead of the clubs with him. He started acting up and letting his girl friends call our apartment. I had to let him go I was crying too often behind this man ask The Lord to bring the man you want into your life and be patient because a lot of them are wolves in sheep's clothing. Today I'm standing on Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thougths that I think toward you.saith the LORD,thoughts of peace, and not of evil,to give you an expected end.

I'm not saying it won't bother you sometimes because as women & men we want our own to have and to hold.just wait on the Lord is my best advice what I'm praticing this time around
read your Bible everyday & Have a Blessed Life

As far as I'm concerned, if you love someone and they love you, then I think spiritually there's also a connection, regardless of level...and who can say whether or not your spiritual level will rub off on them, or vice versa? I feel I have a personal relationship with God, outside of any organized religion, and have learned after a long time to put my trust and faith in Him (assuming in fact it is a Him), to the extent that were I to meet someone I would want to marry, that person would fill areas in my life (including spiritual) that are lacking

Level may be the wrong word here, commitment is more of what your looking for. If someone is going in a different direction than you are then the red flags should go up, their is a huge potential for conflict down the road. When the Bible talks about being unequally yoked, it is this type of situation that it's talking about.

My wife did. I'm not as spiritual as she is. Every Saturday and Sunday she wakes up and reads the bible, and I dont. Shes Baptist and I'm Catholic. Howvere, we learn from eachother every day, and she is a good influence on my spiritual life and I thank God all the time for bringing her to me.

Is there something wrong with that?

Yes, I currently am dating someone who isn't on the same spiritual level as me. Which is ok. He doesn't believe in God necessarily, but he does believe in a higher power. I hope I can change his beliefs.

i've tried, it's hard... however, I know couples, married who startyed on all sorts of different levels. sometimes, one of them was saved, and one wasn't. A lotl of christian leaders talk about their early times in their relationship, and there tends to be a pattern where on person would be ahead of the other, then the other would catch up, and then get ahead, and they'd keep passing each other, and eventually get to about the same level.

Oh, sorry, thought you were asking a question about ALL people. I see now that this is only for the other bible-thumpers. I'll go back to the rest of the world now...

I would marry a Christian woman who didn't have the Bible knowledge I have (I would definitely want her to have a close relationship with Jesus).

As long as it is the same religion it does not matter to me. It is written in the bible not to be yoked with unbelievers.
