It's all about the metabolism... You can raise your metabolism by lifting weight and gaining muscle. The more muscle you have on your body the more calories you will burn.
Also a lot of folks don't eat as much as it looks like or may eat a lot when there's food around but are too lazy to feed themselves a lot of the time. Some have smaller stomachs. I used to think I ate a lot because I'd always eat til I'm full, but then I noticed one of the girlfriends I had (she weighed 150lbs- a little big but not really fat) could out-eat me by like double or more. Get used to eating smaller meals and your stomach will shrink on it's own.

Check on your doctor if you have low metabolism. People with higher metabolism tend to burn off the "extra calories" faster than people with lower metabolism. But eat right and excercise with 30 minutes of cardio a day, and you should be in great shape whether you are low metabolism or not! Hope this helps!

you may be genetically fat. your ancestors may have been hunters and scavengers that only sporadically had food so they had to conserve their calories. your metabolism is naturally slower. the most healthy thing you can do is exercise every day for at least forty five minutes make sure that you get your heart rate up and your breathing hard. make sure to push your limits and do as much as your body will allow without hurting yourself. i worked up from less than a mile to five miles. also make sure that you get plenty of protein without carbs. of course you can always go the easy (and unhealthy) route and take a metabolic enhancer but that can make you worst off internally than you were before.

Its all about your metabolism. I can eat Hot Pockets all day for years and never gain weight where someone else may eat one of them and gain 10 pounds. Its just your metabolism.

Various reasons...metabolism, for one...type of food is another (as in caloric, non-caloric, anti-caloric (such as celery)...stress can burn calories...there are a number of factors, some perhaps psychological...I can't say, leaning towards underweight most of my life, I know your pain directly, but I do know many people, including family members, that do...I hope you find answers and perhaps some comfort

Have you notice those ppl who eat all day are freckishly thin? Never compare yourself by their standards? Ppl may have different body mass, height or genes; its really your def of big bone. Are you healthy fat? Google Body Mass Index.

PEOPLE WHO EAT ALL DAY AND NOT GET FAT ARE USUALLY MOVERS. THEY ARE ALWAYS BURNING THE CALORIES THEY TAKE IN. YOUR M ETABOLISM IS LOW AND PROBABLY NOT USING THE CALORIES YOU TAKE IN AND THEY STORE IT AS FAT. YOU VE GOT TO START WITH SUPPORT GROUPS LIKE WEIGHT WATCHERS AND THEN TAKE IT FROM THERE.. ITS HARDER WHEN YOU ARE VERY OVERWEIGHT AT FIRST, BUT IF YOU KEEP THE FINISHED IMAGE OF HOW YOU WANT TO LOOK..YOU CAN DO IT..YES YOU CAN

Because being fat is in your genes. Some people are genetically fat and little food will give them more weight while others are genetically thin and even loads of food won't affect their weight
