It sounds like you are describing a skin condition called eczema . you need to make an appointment as soon as possible with your pediatrician . You didn't mention if your baby is uncomfortable by the rashes , so I hope your baby gets medical attention as soon as possible . GOD BLESS !

That sounds pretty serious. Is the baby on medicines (antibiotics?) If so stop them immediately as it could be an allergic reaction. Babies are VERY sensitive to detergents...I never used ANYTHING but Ivory Soap for babies...even in later years my kids reacted to (TIDE) being the worst...never use that ever!
Other than that, it could be that it is an allergic reaction to some food, or to something else. In any case a rash like that must be looked at immediately and I would want to have the baby tested for allergies...otherwise it could very well be eczema or psoriasis...eczema is often an allergic type of reaction too. Don't put any lotions on it unless your doctor tells you to or it could make it worse...I think a bath in a little baking soda may not harm the baby and may relieve the itch. Good luck.

Might be simple dry skin. Could be a viral rash.
Could be an alergic reaction to something his skin has come in contact with. It all depends on the age of the baby. If there are pustuals, raised rash or under the skin rash.
Check with a doctor.

Could be an allergy to your laundry detergent or bath soap. Could just be a rash or dry skin. Use the same stuff you use on ur baby's bottom when treating diaper rash. I always used Paladin ointment with my daughter. It's great stuff. If it doesn't clear up, see your pediatrician because it's probably an allergy then.

My daughter had a rash on her legs a few months ago, it was dry and patchy with a little bit of pink around the edge. I went to the Dr and he told me that it was a form of dermatitis. He said that if she was in and out of water a lot that this could help dry out her skin. It made sense, since the weather turned nicer, we having been playing outdoors more so she has a bath almost everynight. Her skin was getting dry. He told me to put lots of lotion on her. I used the baby lotion and it seems to work fine. She only got it on her legs though, so if you are in doubt you should check with your Dr. Good luck

He/she could have a skin condition or just some sort of rash. you really need to go to the dr. though. never take a chance of guessing what might be wrong with a baby. no reason is a bad reason to take the baby to a dr. just to be sure. Make an appt. Asap

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/AC2Ff

my baby had the same, it opened to allergic reaction. after we stopped to give her certain product (in our case it was milk) the allergy stopped. After 1 year she was able to eat everything without any allergy.
You should go to the doctor, he will tell you what tests should be taken. Dont panic, but dont leave it without treatment, because allergy can develop very fast.
