im assuming your asking how to make your item stand out, if what your selling is pretty common? theres a few ways. some are obvious. for example, when your listing your item, you can choose to apply a purple border around your listing which is an extra $5, but will set yours apart from the bulk of the listings. I normally only do that for more expensive items. Or you can choose to highlight the listing in bold, which I think is $2 or $3. those are options if your willing to shell out the money. if you wanna do something different, consider posting your auction in all CAPS. thats what I do, makes it stand out more. also, you need to use words that are gonna grab the buyers attention, like NEW or AWESOME or MINT CONDITION. those terms are what buyers look for. people would rather click on a listing that gives a lotta description than one thats bland, doesnt have any description. and the more terms you put in your heading, the easier it will be to find. i sell a lot of action figures. when i list a figure, i dont just type 'predator figure' as the title of the auction. ill use something like 'aliens predator avp mcfarlane figure kit model' yeah it sounds cluttered but my auction will appear whenever someone enters any one of those words as part of their search. so just using 'predator figure' i might get i dunno like 10 hits. using 'aliens predator avp mcfarlane figure kit model' will get me 50+, so its all in the wording man. but u wanna describe your object in as many ways as you can. dont just say 'blue shirt.' say 'blue t tee shirt awesome new', something like that so youll get more hits. hope this helps.
