... in a young girl heart? Just kidding! Seriously, though, do you? In one form or another? I'm curious and, I honestly care.

Do you mean how the music can free her whenever it starts? It really is magic, when the music is- okay you can't say groovy anymore. Yes. Magic involves directing one's consciousness and thereby controlling one's reality. People do it all the time. There are many people I know who need to quit doing so much magic and let reality be what it is for a while. But you know how people can be: work, work, work...
All creative people do magic routinely. Look at the screen in front of you. Read the thoughts that I am making into little coded marks. It is magic, but now it's commonplace, so you are waiting for the next bit of magic to come along before you will momentarily recognize it for what it is, just before that too becomes ordinary in your sight.
Or try a walk in nature and see life literally coming out of the ground by the sheer force of its will and a bit of luck. You want magic, sweetheart? Just open your eyes. Love is all around, no need to waste it..

Love you, Elle! I was thinking the same thing when I saw the first part of your question.

As to the serious part, I like Crowley's definition of magick, which is to say, Magick is the changing of reality in conformance to Will, and yes, I do believe we as normal human beings are very capable of changing not only our perceptions of reality, but reality itself.

After all, you and I are communicating by means of harnessed lightning. Who knows where we can go from here, as we continue to grow in understanding our True Will, which some equate with the Will of the Divine?

I think there are miraculous, magical things that happen in the world. Things that some will say are just accidents, or coincidence, but I feel have a spiritual connection that is just not explainable. Therefore, "magic" in some respect!

Alot of what was called magic is now called science. as it can be reproduced on demand .
True magic still comes from the soul that is open to the Creator of ALL Things. How you use it determines wither it is called good magic or bad magic.

Magic is a very dangerous and deceiving thing for a person to get involved in. True Christians and anyone wanting to draw close to God should stay completely away from anything like it.

Yes! Magic IS everywhere, all around us...and it's not the fake TV-show-magic-tricks kind of magic, or silly dark-arts summoning-of-the-devil kind. Not for me, anyway. It's the magic that is life, love, friends, family, nature, Earth, and miracles blossoming forth all around us. Some are just too blind to ever notice, sadly.

Daniel 2:2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to show the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.

If I have to pay to watch a magic show, then I have to believe it, I guess, or else I am not getting my money's worth. But when it's free, well I am free to heckle and shout the loudest... Booooo!!!!

Depends on what you mean by magic. If you mean manipulating things to suit my purpose, oh yeah, definitely. If your talking about the Siegfried and Roy stuff, no.
