Well, since you both seemed to agree that being eachothers sex buddys was the way to go, other stuff really shouldnt concern you. If you want him for something else, TELL HIM! tell him or loose him is what I say.

In a perfect world, you should have heard it from him. Unfortunately, post break-up nookie typically means there are no strings attached--at least on one person's part. I've found that when a former couple continues to hook up, one person still has feelings and is trying to hold on, while the other is simply hanging around for the action.
You need to ask him about this. But again--now that you aren't together, there's not much you can do about him seeing other people (or even about the fact that he didn't tell you.) It's just something that is going to happen in a friends with benefits (or, as my friends and I called it in college, "non-committal booty") situation.
My best advice? Kick him out of the way and find someone who is willing to be completely yours.

look sweetie your not together he has no obligation to tell you anything. just go on with life and enjoy being free.life is way too short to wonder about stupid things. guys will be guys and as long as you are giving it up just remember it is only sex . just go on with life and find a good guy never settle. and remember all men are pigs but their is always that one special guy that will always think your special and adore you always. So I guess what I'm saying is have fun and don't let him make you feel bad ,your friends and that's it go have a real life without him. good luck

So you assume that because he has a date that they're going to do "stuff".
is that becuse YOU are so casual about stuff that you don't have to be BF/GF, just good friends. By stuff i quess you mean sex.
do you have sex with all your good friends, or just your boy friend.
what IS your relationship to each other, do you know.
exclusive sex with a good friend not a boy friend?
what is the difference, what does it matter to a friend if the other friend goes bowling with some one they met, no, they have to be doing "stuff".
Sound like you are jealous, how can you be jealous of a friend(not boy friend).
You created this with your loose rules/definitions(morals).
i assume the "friend" that called you is a different "friend" than the "friend" you are doing "stuff" with.
sounds confusing and stupid.

He should have told you. Maybe he thinks you have an open relationship . You said you have an on and off relationship who knows what he does when the "off " part of the relationship. He may regularly date and sleep with other girls during that time period.
Talk to him and ask what up?

Sounds like you had an agreement, so now you want more to the agreement? Are you jealous....did you think sleeping with him would hold him....did you think you could handle this arrangement? Women are always much more emotional (usually) than men, so I would think it is harder for you just to sleep with him. Have you been dating also, if so then it shouldn't be a problem for him to date either. Looks like it's time to reevaluate your feelings regarding your sleeping arrangement.
