Yes. Your metabolism actually gets slower the less often you eat. People who eat only 1 big meal are much more likely to feel tired all the time. You have a bit more energy by eating twice a day. But if you divide your daily calorie alotment into 6 portions that are spread evenly through the day, your metabolism gets boosted 6 times instead of just twice. This will give you sustained energy.

Also watch for insulin crashes. Make sure you are eating healthy foods and not highly processed, high sugar foods.

If you are on a prescription drug, your doctor should be told when you have symptoms like fatigue, high blood pressure or rapid heart rate.

And fatigue could indeed be from not eating the right foods and getting enough nutrients. It would be better to eat small amounts 4, 5, or even 6 times a day that two big meals with gaps that are too long between them. Eating frequent but sensible meals keeps your blood sugar more level and helps maintain your energy as well as feeling less hungry.

If you are getting Meridia over the Internet or from friends, you are taking a big chance that it's not right or safe for you. And only you and your doctor can decide if the risks outweigh the benefits for this or any other medication.

The fact that you aren't feeling good is a pretty fair indication that something needs to change.

When taking meridia, you have to be active and eat well. If you don't then your results will not last, and you will gain all your weight back. If you lose 100 lbs, and after awhile you'll gain 100 lbs. I took Meridia for 4 years in a row, and if you don't have a steady exercise program, and eat at least 3 (but healthy) meals a day, your results will not last, and you'll have a stroke of heart failure.

I don't take those meds, but yes I've found that not eating has caused a serious lack of energy to the point of feeling like my body is shutting down. I work a job that is very physical at times and can barely do it. I have an esophageal problem that makes it hard to eat. I had to live on Ensure for a long while. I hope you feel better, I'm trying to myself!

Depends entirely on what you are eating, not how often. If you want to let me know what you are eating, I can possibly direct you much better.
