Okay, God knows everything so He must. However, without free will there seems to be no point to Earth. Two possible theories:

1) God exists outside of our physical world, therefore He is not subjected to time.

2) As God is omniscient, He knows how everything will interact even though it is free. Example: If a person playing pool had the angles, velocities, masses, irregularities in the table and balls, etc, he/she could accurately predict where any ball would end up without actually interfering the balls. Imagine this while knowing every atom in the universe, and having the capacity to understand all of it.

God does know everything. He does give us free will, so it is our choice to accept Him or reject Him. Even if He already knows what we will chose. Knowing it and forcing it to happen are two different things. He does not want us to reject Him, but he knows what we will chose...because He knows everything. That used to make my head spin, but if I can accept that The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are are individual but are all one...I am comfortable with God being omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent! Won't it be so cool, when we get our gloified bodies, and our minds like Christ so that we can have a full understanding of all the complexities and wonders of our great God?! And I know that knowledge will only make us to love and be even in more awe of Him!!!!
There is NOTHING that God does not know!

Hugo you can close your eyes and tell the bear that you do not believe that bears eat people, because you like to think of bears as cute and cuddly...but when the bear eats you, you are still in the bears belly.
You can not believe in hell, or a Holy God that gave EVERYONE a chance to escape it, through the sacrifice of His one and only Son....but the fact of the matter is God is real. God is Holy. Your sin is not going to enter heaven, so you better do something about. The Bible says that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess...do it now or do it later.

Hi,

First of all, whatever religion that you’re following (Christianity, Islam, Judaism…) you as a believer believe in God. Some of the basics that you should believe in that he is the almighty, most gracious, most merciful, he has unimaginable powers because he created this complicated universe, he created us, he’s the one who manages this sophisticated world…etc ….and for sure God knows every little tiny simple thing that happened or will happen not just to you…but to everybody to everything… but I felt that you wanted to know about your destiny after death… well, let me ask you why did God create brains for us? Obviously, to think what’s good and what’s not. Why did he create hearts for us? The answer is to feel sorry when you do something bad or harmful especially to someone else… so he created hearts and brains for us not only for biological needs. At the end, I’m not saying that God doesn’t know about your destiny after death because I DEEPLY believe that he knows everything… what I meant is that God gave you the opportunity to change your destiny and taught us that there are two paths one of them leads to Heaven and the other leads to Hell and he gave you the tools to survive (your brain & your heart) so it’s up to you.
God bless you.

To be honest, this is a question I've struggled with myself. I'm beginning to believe it's actually possible to suprise God.

Say, for example, that God is all-knowing. Now, if the future hasn't been written yet, then it doesn't exist. If the future doesn't exist, then there is nothing to know. Therefore, even if God is omniscient, if there is not future, He doesn't know it.

And the free will thing is a good point on that. I would ask: Is it possible for God to be just, yet have already determined who is going to heaven, and who is going to hell?

He has a destiny designed for you. He lay down several roads for you to choose which way you want take. When you choose any one, He will know for sure where you are heading and what you will encounter, along that road you chose, there are also escape routes for you to take, in case you want to get out of it and decide to take another one.
He surely knows what you have in your mind but since He gave you a free will to take what road and how you will walk through the journey, He will only give you some chance to find the right way should you ask Him for a guide and a wisdom to do it right..

This is a question I had beforehand and had to reject this view of God. I refuse to believe to a god that would create people (not just myself) that he knew would go to hell. Why would I want to have that kind of God in my life? I would not be responsible for my actions, and would feel completely powerless, insignificant, and afraid most of the time. I will not beleive in a God that is so cruel. Why would God be that way? I then asked myself how would this world look if God allowed all of us to go to heaven anyway. If he is so powerful, then he wouldn't care how or even if we worshipped him. I believe in a loving and forgiving God. He has no use for hell-- rather wants to have each of us experience his love. I do not believe we go to hell, unless we create that for ourselves (and we usually do that here, in this lifetime).

Well if god knows from the time your created that you will burn in hells fire Why would he create such a person? Because he creates man out of his own image and he is the most selfish, ruthless man around!

HE KNOWS ALL!
~~~~~~~~
Imagine standing on the roof a ten-story building. A parade is going to start in the street below. It forms, it begins, and it travels the parade rout length and then disperses. All this happened in your view.
This is the way OUR GOD sees us! Before our birth HE knows the complete and whole story! But HE also orchestrated our "parade rout" before we were even born. Before we were even born HE knew everything.
He has chosen not to know the outcome of your existance because he wants you to have free will. Also, hellfire is a lie and he does not believe in burning children alive in fire. We are all his children and he gives us the choice to live or die, not to live or fry.
I'm sorry that this great question that you asked received so many stupid answers. It too bad that some people think with their bibles instead of their heads. I personally believe in free will...if not that, then what is the point???
