1. Jesus was Crucified, he did not kill himself.
2. Killing anybody even yourself as in a suicide is a sin.
3. There is an unforgivable sin, but that sin is not commiting suicide.
4. If you commit suicide, you can still go to heaven and live eternally with God provided you have believed in Christ as your saviour. It would be very shameful that you took your life though.
5. The one sin the Bible talks about as having no redemption is the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which has the following definition: Assigning or saying that the true works of the Spirit of God have been performed by demons. That is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit so please do not ever do that. If Holy Spirit does some supernatural work and you mock it or say it is being done by demons, it is blasphemy.
Good interesting question by the way. Keep it up.

I am not at all a religious person, but I do believe that there may be consequences on the other side for someone who has taken their own life. If the bible says that your body is a temple and you should respect it, I do not think it would be a good thing to commit suicide. I feel that if you do such a thing, you would have a lot of work to do to make good on what you did while you were still alive.. (just like anyone)... My belief is that there are different levels/realms to the after-life...
If you commit suicide, you just may very well be in the same realm with murderers etc. Again, though, I feel like everyone will have the opportunity to make good on their bad doings. I also do not believe that there is a fiery pit called hell.. It's just a dark and lonely place. Imagine being alone here on earth to the point where you feel the need to commit suicide. Once you die, your mental is not going to change, so you will continue to be alone and dissatisified.
I said I believe all will have the opportunity to make good on the bad things that they did when they die, but if your mental is the same, you are not going to honestly change how you feel until you are ready.. So people that commit suicide in my opinion probably will be alone for eternity until THEY are ready to face some sort of reality.

Jesus Christ was executed by the Romans. He did not commit suicide.
Catholics believe suicide when committed in full knowledge and deliberate consent is a complete turning away from God (a mortal sin) and will send a person to hell.
There are 3 conditions of a mortal sin: grave matter, full knowledge, and deliberate consent.
While suicide (or any kind of murder) is always a grave matter, people who commit suicide may not always have full knowledge of what they're doing. Drugs can definitely impair one's thinking, as can other things, such as diseases, intense pain, or anguish.
Therefore, suicide is not automatically treated as a mortal sin.
We are commanded by Christ not to judge others so we leave final judgment to God who alone knows each person's heart.
With love in Christ.

Jesus was killed. He did not commit suicide. And since it is up to God whether a person can be redeemed how do we know what happens after a person commits suicide? A person's head is not right when they commit suicide. At the last moment they may ask God's forgiveness for what they are doing. Only God would know whether that happened. So there can be redemption.

If you are a monotheist, he didn't. Jesus was a man. If you are a polytheist or trinitarian, Jesus, who is God did commit suicide on behalf of mankind. He could have stopped the stupid game at any time since he was all powerful. He could have changed the rules of the game and said that the only thing you need to do to get into heaven is to have changed your underwear an socks within a 24 hour period prior to your death. Simple solution, no need for expensive churches, no need for ministers who interpret the literal Bible for illiterate followers, no need for tax exempt status on massive wealth and real estate holdings. Just clean underwear and clean socks. God could have done that, could have made those rules. Why all the goofy, irrational, illogical trinity theism. Simple answer; misguided and selfish fans thought up that myth.

The reason people say there is no redemption for those who commit suicide ... is that you don't have the chance to say you are sorry and ask Gods forgiveness. It is to late, you are aleady dead. And once you die it is your judgement. So you die with the sin of murder on your soul. There is no way to repent from that.
And no Jesus did not do that. You need to read the books in the bible either Matthew or Mark. Jesus was executed .

plan 9: Jesus did not commit suicide. The people crucified him. The reason he did not put a fight to it, was because he wanted to do the father will. Juda committed suicide after he betrayed Jesus. The demons got of hold of him and led him to hang himself.
Why would you want to commit suicide, life is precious. Just because you have struggle in life, doesnt mean that you are to kill yourself. When you have Jesus in you nothing matters, because he give you peace. If you dont have that peace, its because you dont know him. Jesus loves you, follow him and he will set you free.

How do you know what the man called Jesus did? None of us were there. Not the Christians, not the Atheists and not any of the other worlds religions.
How can anyone who kills themselves be sinning? First of all if you kill yourself you are not in your right mind, so how can that be a sin. If the Creator knows your heart then It knows you are ill and therefore it is not a sin.
Try Logic, it will help with answers to questions like this.

No. sacrifice for the greater good is not suicide for selfish reasons. The sacrifice of Jesus did nothing for him but it did tons for us. See the difference. Suicide is a sin that cannot be forgiven because if you succeed then you are dead and any chance for asking for forgiveness is gone. God says your life is not your own to take. Big difference.
I will pray for you.
