Why don't you want to make the first move? Today's girls do it all the time. Get your friend to get some more information for you other than that he thinks you are pretty. Get your friend to find out if he likes you for starters.

You are waaaaaaaaaaay too young to be doing all this.
He said you were pretty. Good leave it at that. You shouldn't have
a boyfriend for another 2 years. In the meantime, cultivate lots of girlfriends and shop, play sports, educate yourself.
You don't need to be confusing your life all up with boyfriends and sex and the like. You seem waaaaaay too young. I urge you not to take the first move or encourage one from him. This is how girls get bad reputations, become bootie calls, and get

girl trust me the like that you have for him is either the fact that he looks good or you just want to have a man give you some sex that's what it sounds like to me. He will get frustrated if you are forcing him let him breath because he will just go with the flow and have sex with you and leave you because to him it will look as if you are pushing the fact that you want a relationship and your just playing a part where sex is writing all over your face, come on relax don't pay attention to your emotions cause you going to attack him a woman we name, control yourself and let him come to you don't be easy though cause he has something to tell every one if you are o.k.

maybe you are coming on to strong to him..and he doesnt want to be to forward with you, slow down and let him make the move...it will happen in time..dont rush it, it takes 2 .
