Fact of the matter is that most guys do take flirting seriously. They get their egos stroked and begin to believe that the woman that is flirting with them really digs then. Sending out the wrong signal may come back to bite you in the backside someday.

It depends on if the guy knows that you are just doing it for fun. It's a bad idea if the guy has a thing for you and you don't have feelings for him (it can really hurt him). Some guys will take you seriously and it could mean trouble and be very dangerous. Some guys are the same as you and see no harm in a little flirting, but I would be careful, his girlfriend might be around and that could lead to a lot of probems. You could also end up with a bad reputation....like being called a d*ck tease.
So, I guess it really depends on if the guy knows that you aren't serious about what you are saying.

Most guys don't take it any more seriously than you do. However, a small percentage of guys (mostly those unused to a woman's attentions and you can imagine the type of guys I mean) will interpret a bit of harmless flirting as an open invitation. This can lead to all sorts of problems.

Some do and others don't. Well you can ask the girls the same question. I am a big flirt, especially at work. I just do it cuz I like too, but it's all for fun and not meant to mean anything.

no matter what other guys have said here, most of the time guy dont know if they are flirting or not. also we dont know if a girl is flirting with us. thats why some many people ask on here if he/she is flirting with me! guys just act the way they act.

Probably at first, but if it is noticable that you do it with all the men, we won't take it too seriously UNLESS you give any one of us more attention than the rest.
By the way, men LOVE to be flirted with!

Depends. A nice flirt is nice, but it's obvious that if you flirt with a guy that likes you he'll get ideas.

there's some good flirting and some bad flirting if he is flirting back then yes he is serious but if he is paying no attention then it's not serious

I think it depens on the person whom ith you are flirting. Some may take that casually and some may not and they take that very seriously.
