if you have a wound that isn't healing then you need to go to the doctor

that's not necessarily true. many hospitals now have a department called "wound clinic". doctors, nurses, dietitians, therapists (occupational, and physical), specially trained as experts in wound healing.they use an interdisciplinary approach to healing your wound. while it may take a long time, all hope is not lost. please contact your local hospital. even if they do not have a clinic, i'm almost sure they can point you in the right direction. good luck

NOT TRUE!!!!!!! I've had a wound for about 7 months, but it went away.

It is still possible for it to heal. You didn't say what kind it was so can't really help you more than that......
