I know I'm only 14 and to young to be in love but I am and I need some help!?

Question

i came down here to NC to visit with my aunt and she had told me that there was a boy my age here so eventually we had hung out at the neighborhood pool a few times and then we became friends...i had told him that id only be here for two weeks and he was all like that sux and we hung out more but eventually he was huggin me when he went home at night but then the next day it was just the two of us at the pool like usual(it was nighttime)and he like had his arms around me while we sat on the steps and he goes u might think this is weird but i like u... and i was like so happy cuz i felt the same way and tonight we were at the pool alone again and he we were on the steps together again and he goes i cant believe ur leaving in 5 days...im like gonna miss u and im prolly gonna cry when u leave and i was like yea and then later i was walking and my legs started to like almost collapse from under me and that has never happend with other b/fs and i was like crying cuz i was leaving soon. help

youre not to young to be in love because if youre to young to be in love im DEFFINATLY to young to be in love cuz im 12! umm keep in touch with him plan visits with youre aunt during the summer so you can see him more often and try to call at least every weekend or once a week... email eachother and communicate in any way you can... best of luck!

Honey, it sounds like you only had two weeks there, and while I don't think 14 is too young to feel some sort of love, two weeks is too short a time to really feel love for someone. The best advice I can offer is that all romances help us to learn and grow, whether the end is happy or sad. Enjoy the few days together and try to stay in touch. If you are meant to be together you will do what it takes to stay in touch and see each other.

I know it may seem as if you are in love, and you may be, but you still need to return home. If the two of you really care for eachother, I would recommend becoming pen pals, or something of that sort. If it turns out that the two of you stay in touch, and do indeed wish to be together, you have plenty of years ahead to do so. However, you may discover that there are other guys out there, whom you long for even more. You are only fourteen, and it may seem like something true, but I'm afraid you will learn something entirely different in years to come. Did that make any sense? Well, exchange numbers, e-mail addresses or whatever else, and you can always visit your aunt again next year. You may surprise yourself.

If you`re truly in love with the guy, you will do whatever it takes to stay in touch with him, no matter what other people say, and if you`re truly meant to be, somewhere somehow you`ll end up side by side, if not, you`ll find your true prince eventually.

you should just kill yourself - love is only an addictive chemical reaction in your brain. It's actually no different from a crack addict getting addicted to crack. You can get addicted to love just by the case as you described.

So yeah, just kill yourself - its not like your gonna be with him anyways when you're, say, 24 anyways.
