To many people are complaining the US doesn't give enough visas, but they give out plenty of visas, but maybe they slowed it down because people that are getting visas are not leaving when their time is up, so they ruin it for everbody else. that is one way 800 thousand illegals come every year from other countries, and that is not counting the illegals coming form Mexico. I have heard it is really hard to get a visa if your from Europe. And I don't no why. And their have been a lot of Mexicans that have come legally. But most just say screw your laws. Every country has immigration quotes.

Where do you get your information?
I'am from Asia and I have many friends here and abroad. We cant get visa easily, sometimes it takes almost a year, and we need to spend a lot of money just to moved over here. There's tons of things to do,you need a physical exam,its not easy we get up early in the morning just to fall in line and wait for a long time all day and the bad thing is, it will not guarantee you to get a visa.

I'm not sure about the European people i guess they can get the visa easily, but still it takes process if you do it legally.

it is not true that the US easily gives visas to the nationalities mentioned in the question. there are a lot of requirements for obtaining a visa and they are all the same no matter from which part of the world one comes from except those that belong to the visa waiver program. the uscis website has all the information one needs to get a visa. it doesn't say that if you're asian, you do this; if you're cuban, you do this; etc...the forms, fees, and requirements are the same.

I don't think Cubans get in very easily either, lol. If so you need to swim out and tell them they could have just flown. Unlike the mexicans those people aren't typically coming over to stay. They definitely aren't the "typical" illegal immigrant. Visas are only for a certain purpose, school, work, etc... not to come live. You NEED a green card for that one.

the reason I know that asians get visas is that america gets less trouble or they think from the asians and the asians do a lot of the research. I think its wrong and they should visas to mexicans. Since when did the US give out visas easily to people from other countries??? It has taken me over 2 years to get my green card and I am from Australia. The only reason I got it was because I am a Nurse and there is a nursing shortage.
