A new CNN poll came out today showing that 60% of Americans are against the war...

The other 40% I am sure have no desire to actually go and fight for what they believe in. They are hypocritical lemmings who take their cues from the likes of Rush Limbaugh & Sean Hannity.

Ever notice how the vast majority of Republicans have never served a day of their life in the military? Same goes for the chest thumping right wing wanna-be's that follow them off the cliff.

I can't wait till they resintate the draft in the next year or 2. Let's see how eager they are to endorse this illegal & immoral war then.

The US sent troops to Iraq for a reason, which is not to kill as many terrorists as they can, but to get them to kill each other. They topple the government by giving false hopes to the citizens and ignited the civil war which has consumed 100,000 Iraqi lives and only 2,500 US lives. The longer US troops are being stationed there, the more Iraqis are going to die. The problem continues with no solution, just to buy US time to extend their invasion throughout the middle-east, and control all the Oil sites. When they have everything under their control, they hope that the whole world will be on their knees, begging for Oil.

There are two wars in Iraq;

1. The war being fought by the American government to instill a governmental system that will align itself to the American cause.

2. The civil war between the different Muslim factions and Kurds who reside in Iraq. This is the war that the American government is hiding from its citizens. And the war was caused by the chaos resulting from America toppling the Iraqi government.

With high casualties, including a lot of "friendly fire"; war crime tribunals prosecuting soldiers who operated under orders of the CIA or other agencies; and an inability to distinguish between a "Friendly" and "Foe"; I wonder why everyone is not fighting to sign up...

Let's cut our losses; and withdraw with dignity.

I'm sure Osama is not living in Iraq; and the "weapons of mass destruction" have already been used to fertilize the remaining grass and shrubs in that devastated country. Let them be.

I have some questions regarding the justification of the war with Iraq. However, since we are already committed, I wholeheartedly support our effort and above all our troops.

I tried to volunteer but I was told I was too old. I was told I already did enough during the Korean and Vietnam wars.

nicely i am going to ask a question to respond to your question. are you able to help abortion rights, without both having an abortion or in my opinion helping someone get an abortion ? are you able to help higher tax's to fund more effective social classes, at the same time as no longer voluntarily paying higher tax's your self ? are you able to help the palestinians, without going to the westbank or gaza and helping them ? are you able to help more effective police, without turning out to be a member of the police stress your self ? are you able to help more effective instructors, without turning out to be a instructor your self ? for sure you could. helping using the U. S. military someplace, is not any distinct. And the finest time I checked, the military replaced into assembly that's annual recruiting aims, so that's unlike various man or woman who helps the warfare in Iraq, could bypass down and enlist tommorow. Congress determines the dimensions of the military, the Air stress is popping human beings away in droves in the present day. A draft would not forestall distinctive excursions in Iraq, maximum infantrymen in straightforward words serve one deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan throughout their first enlistment, Marines will serve 2 7 month excursions. the warriors serving distinctive excursions, are those who've reenlisted contained in the military. So inspite of a clean batch of recruits, they could nonetheless serve distinctive excursions, because they may be the NCO's of the recent recruits. fifty 3% of the Air stress 50% of the army fifty 3% of the Marines 37% of the military Have under no circumstances deployed to both Iraq or Afghanistan. slightly research shows merely how stupid this question really is. what number Democrats that choose the U. S. to intrude in Darfur, have went and enlisted contained in the military to help the conception persons intervention there ? i am going to allow you to recognize the answer, none in any respect. with the help of your rhetoric, you should imagine, that 100% of the military contributors who've enlisted because March 2003, all help the U. S. efforts in Iraq. yet all of us recognize that is no longer actual. attempting to simplfy the justifications someone comes to a call to enlist contained in the U. S. military all the way down to help of, or non help of present day US coverage is a mistake. Partisan rhetoric over the status persons military contributors, does a disservice to all of them !!!!!!!!
