Im starting acting classes/community theater and I just want to know how comfortable the atmosphere can be and how friendly the ppl are becuas its my first time with being in a theater, i mean i've done plays before but just school plays nothing like this im just really nervous of making a fool out of myself

Keep in mind that if you make a fool out of yourself, the theater gods will hurt some puppies in protest.

there's a place where i live called Town Hall. it's theatre, acting, quality plays (ive done many of them). sometimes, auditioning can be nerve racking, but other than that it's great. when your on that stage, you couldn't care less about what everyone thinks. it's really fun though when the play is over and you go downstairs to sign autographs lol. you have to be motivated though, like motivated to take the time to memorize your lines. but i'm warning you, be prepared for potluck day. potluck is when you stay at the theatre for ten hours rehearsing over and over and eating dinner with the rest of the cast. i'm not sure if you'll have potluck though....it just depends on where you're acting at.
