Ok, so I asked a question about 4 days ago about my first love, he suddenly shows up at my door Saturday night at about 10 pm and he tells me I am on his list to say goodbye because he is leaving for Kansas and before this I haven't heard from him in 5 months after we dated for about 2 months before this, so we say our goodbyes (no sex involved my ex bf was here and the other and I just had a word outside and hugged it was short and sweet) I sent him a text Monday asking him if I was going to hear from him while he was in Kansas, he tells me no, doesn't give me a reason and said that he was moving down there for good and I told him that I wished him all the luck in the world and that he will always have a place in my heart. Then suddenly tonight my phone rings guess who! Him, the love of my life he calls me to see what is up with me, WHY would a man suddenly call after saying that he already said goodbye and that was that?

Like I said in the above detail the reason he went to Kansas was for his job, and I love this man and I would give him a chance if he asked me to.

It sounds to me that there was something in Kansas that brought him peace and he had to go there to find himself. While he was there trying to get his life straight he was thinging of you, and realized that he wanted you back. this is a man thing. We recide into an imaginary cave (read men are from mars, women are from venus) to sort things out in our mind. I say give him a second chance. Do you remember that old saying "if you love someone let them go and if they come back then it was meant to be." Well he came back. If you don't get back with him through or want to be with him, then don't lead him on. Atleast you could be one of his closest friend.

I' m going thru something similar.. so what I waiver on is seeking closure, and being to healthily move on , and wanting to keep someone special to my heart around too. Being very honest. I recently , tonight left her a letter letting her know again how feel about her ...but i can't find any new Happiness trying to pursue her so much when she's not available to me . She knows how i feel , and if a time ever comes's in the future??? well we'll talk about those things then . Now i wish her Peace , Love , and Happiness....as I look for mine . And give her respect as i restore mine. A good and worthy woman can't truly love a doormat. Gotta love myself...and not be a doormat.

I know you said men but trust me.
He thougt about you and wondered, hmm whatsup with her. Also when you text him that sparked an interest maybe. My ex best friend broke it off with me and when she heard my voice in the back ground while I was over her and my friends house she emailed me the next day after 6 months of us not talking but I knew what I was doing when I was talking loud. I wanted to be friends again for a long time so I talked loud so she could here me. I knew she was going to think hmmm maybe we could be friends again. Well we became friends and realized it really wasn't meant to be friends and we should have moved on.
This may mean he misses you or he just thougt about you and wants to meet up and get back to gether or he's just lonely and no ne else will give him a chance or he feels bad that he did you wrong and wants to make it up to you. My feeling is he is lonely and no one else will give him a chance but I may be wrong lets see what the guys say..........

Becasue your text surprised him, and he began to think about you. Once he started, he couldn't stop. Realize that whatever the problem was before that caused you to break up that problem is still there. I wouldn't waste my time.

something happened in his life, has nothing to do with you, but he needs some space... before you hear from him, it could be months, could be years, or more

perhaps he has changed his mind. if he moved to give you space, or give space to himself for some reason, he could be regretting it.
