There are toys that work like a fishing pole, or get a "Cat Dancer". Thats a thin, flexable plastic "wand" that has a cord at one end that you tie a toy to, then dangle it if front of the cat. Hours of entertainment

try going to ur garden store and getting a couple of catnip plants and plant them in a fairly large container. not only will the cat probably like the fresh catnip but also he would like digging in the dirt. simple and cheap toys include a ball of tinfoil, the rings off milk containers (my cat loves those), get a couple of cardboard boxes and leave them open, a cat loves exploring and will jump into them and will sleep in them if he feels comfortable. the other thing is if ur able to, get another cat for him to play with. maybe hes just lacking companionship

Play with your cat EVERY DAY. And at the same time every day, and other times when you can. Give him at least 10 minutes at a time. He's not an 'item' ya know? Because he doesn't have to hunt for his food, he is bored! Play games with him. Train him! One of my cats has to 'smile' before I let him in! How hungry he is or how much he wants to come in determines how fast he 'smiles'! My brother taught his cat to sit up and beg and fetch! LOL Try cat nip too!!! I sprinkle it on a cardboard scratcher I bought at Petsmart for about $7.

The toys my cats always enjoyed were:
Jungle Gym
Window Ledge (you attach them to a window so the cat can have a comfortable place to look out)
This this with bristles you attach to a corner and they rub against it. It relieves itches.
Scratching Post (cardboard; they always knocked down the other kind and became afraid of it)

Tall scratching posts are super for each age. My cats have continually enjoyed the small foam or fur pretend fur balls. they additionally like the toy mice crammed with catnip. a pair of different issues that cats extremely like is a paper grocery bag or a cardboard field.

A laser pointer definitely will entertain your cat. Shine it all around the room that you are in and your cat will chase it. I would shine the laser on the curtains and my cat would climb up the curtains. It was fun for her and fun for me. Also, cats LOVE milk bottle rings.

Well i have a cat too, and she likes to play ropes and she'll enjoyed but if your cat is in bad mood don't force it to play ok just let it rest and later after your cat is awake play with it! and give him food and drinks too cause it may get tired. My cat love to play paper, tissue and many more! It is really fun, trust me
