Easily $50. You could also take "Airline Limo" which is at the Arrivals level (near the taxis), and they have a fixed rate (plus tip). It might be the same or even a bit cheaper because the taxis will have the meter running, and if there are traffic troubles, the meter is still running.
Plus, the airline limo cars are much nicer and the drivers are very professional. The taxis are noisy and the drivers can be a bit "rough around the edges".

Each taxi company is going to have a different rate although they will be within a certain range of each other. However, keep in mind that the University of Toronto is HUGE! Which campus do you need to go to and in that campus, where specifically are you going? The downtown campus covers several city blocks and is very spread out and then there is the Mississauga campus and the Scarborough campus as well.

Its impossible to get an answer from taxis , I always get a different answer from Toronto and GTA taxis. You could call up one place and they will say they will give you a flat rate, but when they arrive, they say no flat rate.
Taxis in Toronto are expensive they start at 3.00.

About $50 Cdn, plus tip.
If you want to save $$, take the bus (the 192 Airport Rocket) to Kipling subway station, then take any train and get off at St George Station. You can't get lost.
That'll be about $3.

I would suggest taking an airport limo. They usually charge a flat rate of around $40 CDN.
That is for door to door service.

It'll be around CAN$ 40.
I recommend getting the hotels shuttle bus ($15), get off at a nearby hotel, and either walk or take the subway.

I'd suggest you take a limo. Here are the rates in Canadian dollars: http://www.gtaa.com/documents/travellers_visitors/eastlimo_tariff_map.pdf
Check currency exchange rates: http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic
Limos accept major credit cards.
Enjoy our beautiful city:
