okay well, "but he's really cute..." is a reason to CONSIDER dating him because i believe that you must be attracted to the other person first but let's see - what is he like? Does he treat you well? How is his anger management? Is he polite or do you have anything in common with him?
Here's the thing, if you were 20 and he was 25...it wouldn't be such a big deal but here he is leagal and you're underage miss. He's going to be going to parties and bars and clubs while you sit at home or go to the mall? Is he going to be okay with that?
At 14 you haven't really matured...(trust me i thought i was the most mature person at that age but i wasn't.) There's alot of things you're not exposed to.
And when you say "go out"...at 14 i'm gonna go with it's a legal bonding you're together legit/can't go out with anyone else, must spend time with each other all the time. Where his view might be going out is casually dating or one date you know?
I'd say give it a couple of years but if you won't listen to that, just go on one date with him and see if it works.

I'm not trying to answer this question as a father would. but think about it. Why would a man at 18 be looking for a younge girl of 14. Use your head and don't make a mistake. I don't think he's looking for a long haul of a relationship. He's looking for a good time not a long time. THINK BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING STUPID

Dont do it, it is illegal and if he gets in trouble he will be labeled a sex offender for the rest of his life, he would not be able to get a job and he would have to make public everywhere he lives. People will judge him and he will have difficulty finding a woman because he s a sex offender. If you want to ruin his life then go for it.
