Especially like one of those Aqarium ones or the Fireplace. Do they have to be bought???? Can the free trial ones have spyware or crap attached to them?

Can someone please send me a link or tell me how to go about getting a good free one that wont screw up my system. My PC is pretty top of the line so I should be able to handle any requirments out there, I'm just not a techhie so I have no clue when it comes to screen savers.

I'm tired of the starfield of the 3D Pipe Dream crap.

THANKS

Other replies suggest sites for screensavers. I just want to remind you that although they are fun to look at, they are running in the background and use your RAM while you are working. It will slow you down. I played with one for a while then changed it back to blank.

If you have WindowsXP and just want to watch the screensaver, you could right-click on the desktop, select properties, and choose "use slide-show screensaver." This will use the pictures in My Pictures like a slide show. It's fun (but remember the RAM).

All the ones that you see through pop ups aka fireplace and fish ones will give viruses or come with strings attached such as you have to pay...i would try going on other websites from goggle.com type in free screensavers

This one does both, sign up for a free account, they do wallpapers and screensavers with or without calendars. It is virus free, but the free account only let's you download a certain amount daily.... It's Nice.. Good Luck

These are the best screensavers out there. Try the 15 day trial on them until you find the one you like best.
