if you think your parents don't care about you and if your a teenager then that is probably your insecure. I am sure your parents care about you very very much.

if this is about their own kids.....it's about the parent's upbringing and early childhood training/conditioning, etc. which shapes their attitudes about things and their kids. a happy childhood may produce a happy parent. a rotten childhood produces a rotten parent, etc. it's simple and repairable if the parent/adult wishes to work on their core beliefs and feelings.

they probably do care but some parents don't always show it.. or they dont know how to show it.. sometimes parents just don't know how to express themselves

umm..I dunno..could be they do care but your looking at it from the wrong angle, or they could truly not care bc...well, they are them..you might need to ask them this question.
