I was just wondering why sometimes you feel you are never good enough...good enough in the world of dating i mean...you seem to act yourself and be all that you can be (withouth going outside your own boundries) and you get no were...I know i am only 17 and have my whole life left to live....I just wish that i could have someone in my life, besides my parents, that would love and respect me when all i get from guys is embarassment and rejection. I think im a pretty nice person and i may not be drop dead gorgeous but da**it i think i am a good person. So why can't i make the opposite gender see that.....why do u think guys can be so shallow....now i am not saying that girls cant be either but y in your opinion are they like that....I just dont get it.....

We the surfers of cyber world meet with so many people every day. Surfing the net is the best pastime one can ever develop, as internet has the most knowledge, a surfer will never have to wait for a answer. The vast knowledge of cyber world is nothing as compared to the cyber society that it gives. Internet is a community but so vast that we need a place to make conversation easy. I can relate to you big time. I haven't had a date in over a year now. I too am a very nice lady and have so much to offer. I'm not drop dead gorgeous either, but I have so much love, understanding, caring,etc. in me to give to someone. The main problems with guys now and for a very long time, they seem to not want the really nice and great girls. Guys seem to just want the wild and wicked girls that will go all the way right off the bat. I have never been that way and I am not going to be that way. It really reaks that guys are that way, but that is just the way they are. Until they grow up and mature. But I have seen guys in their 40's and even older that are still that way. They rather have a wild who** than someone nice that would always do them right. It surely makes no sense to me and never will. Most guys have one thing on their minds and that is all they want. Just hang in there. At your age, someone will come along. You might even try and talk with a guy that you know is nice like you and see where it goes. Go for the nice guys, not the my s*** don't stink sort of guy. Hope it all works out for you. I will be thinking of you.

I've been in 2 crappy relationships. They just were not the ones. I'm only 16. You are still young, and at this age guys are not mature enough, or they don't know what they want. I get the same feeling too sometimes, but you shouldn't have to be 'good enough' for someone. They should just love you for who you are. The right guy will do just that.

Well I'm pretty goofy looking but I think it's a blessing. That way, the shallow guys who I don't really want to be with won't be interested in me, so I will never end up with a butt head. I'm really different, so the only men who could love me will need to be really nice and special, so I think it's great that I'm not pretty. And you are guaranteed that nobody will like you for your looks. I don't know how you look but if you don't look that good, consider it a blessing.

It's what's inside that matters anyways. And only good men realize that.

Guys are shallow, very true indeed. They will look for the most beautiful usually and that is all. Unfortunately people like yourself, dont think that way, they get slutty and do their best to get a man at any price.

I wish girls here can read this and learn. You are on the right way dear, believe me. Just be patient and wait for that guy who can really appreciate you.

I think sometime the guys when we fall in love with them we forget about our self's.and than when the guy break our heart it breaks our heart. and spirit.an dit make you feel that you will never find true love. are that you are not good enough for him are anyone Elsa.but this is because we allow them to do this to us.but we must be strong.and know that if we do not love our self.than no one will love us.and we can not even really truly love someone Elsa and til we can love our self.i hope that you will find the love of your life someday.but pray to god to send him to you good luck.

Because sometimes life just plain sucks. But sometimes it rocks. You gotta remember that most guys around your age are still really immature. (I know cuz I am the same age as you and all the guys I know are complete and total di*ks) I know you don't wanna hear this, cuz I don't really wanna say it, but love WILL find all us lonely girls... someday... the only thing that guys want at that age is poontang. if you want attention then you need to put out. that's why there's so many hoochies roaming the streets. do your thing if you don't want to stoop to that level. you'll meet someone sincere sooner or later. until then just have fun, be yourself and make lots of friends
