i have changed the fuel pump,ditributor cap,oil pump switch.my truck temp.gets warm and truck dies.what else can i do to try to fix my truck from going dead?

go to ask.com..ask the same question..click on the one thats the closest..or put your trucks age specs etc etc in ask.com and put not running..I'm sure you can find something there

it could be the alternator. when its tore it, it don't recharge the battery like it should and the car (or truck) dies. so that could be your problem.

is your dog involved?

(not very good at mechanics...but i'll take a guess. maybe the transmission? carborator? battery? i dunno.)
