when it comes 2 relationships,why do men avoid monogamy like the plague? is it in their genes or what?

This is just a stereotype. I haven't cheated on my wife in the whole 20 years of our marriage.

Yes it is in their genes. Men have virtually unlimited sperm, so if their genes want to get passed along, his best opportunity for success is to put as much sperm into as many women as possible. (Mars)
For women, they have a limited number of eggs only coming one time a month. It is her genes best interest to find the best man and then keep him around to help protect and raise the children. She can't afford to waste an egg on a dumbass. (Venus)
These two different approaches actually lead to so many of the problems between men and women.

Men love to chase. They are always hungry for attention especially from women. Once they are satisfied with getting and giving attention to one women they look for the next prey. Now most men just get tired of one women or the women they are with at the time is getting on their d$%$ nerves so they cheat. Men and women are different. DUH. We as women cannot expect men to do what we say and we shouldn't get mad at men for the way they are. We nag too much and they don't listen and love life a little more than we do and thats why its so easy for them to move on in most relationships. We as women need to get some confidence and love life and just stop nagging all of the time and just chill

Not every man is that way and there are varying degrees to each person regarding commitment. That includes women. Ultimately, men are being tied to a value that society has placed on them- as are women. There was a time when polygamy worked.

Fear of a lot of stuff they shouldn't fear. My question is is why the fear of everything ?? It's like females move in with them, they break out in hives, they talk about marriage, beads of sweat come piling on. They'd think we're taking their freedom away (which some females do attach the ball and chain when in a relationship but males are stupid to stay in it as it is stupid for the roles to be reversed)
