to the child of GOD...you let GOD do the judging ok. who do you think created gay people in the first place. this is life...and to answer your question honey, you don't need to announce it, and you don't need to hide it. I've worked with many gay people and I have not had anyone announce it. you keep your business to yourself, don't give people a reason to talk. I'm not saying for you to be ashamed or hide it either, but when people at work ask, you tell them that is YOUR business and hopefully they won't bother you about it. this is not something that needs to be dsiclosed to your employer during an interview either. as long as you are a professional and you do your job, it doesn't matter if you're gay or straight or bi or whatever... good luck to you.

I'm a straight female with many gay friends. My thought is that your sexual preference is no body's business. If your boss should ask that question, it's okay to be honest with him, but more importantly is your job performance. Do your job to the best of your ability, and don't volunteer any information. Keep your co-workers wondering. There's no reason to subject yourself to needless abuse and gay bashing. As open about it as we like to think society is becoming, it still happens quite often. Why push it?

I am not gay but I would like to answer your question for my gay co-employees. In fact, I have four gay co-workers who did not hide their being gays from all of us in the Company more especially during my interviews with them because I am the Personnel Administrator of our firm.

Honesty is a very important factor in human relations and even if a gay does not reveal his real self to others, more often than not, his actions will reveal his being so. Many people can easily determine if a person is gay. The words spoken, the voice, the girly actions, all of these are signals for people to say that one is gay.

However, I don't say that all gays have those gay signals because I also know gays who really look and speak like real men.

But because your question is about working gays, I'd say that still honesty and sincerity about one's self will weigh a lot and being so will give this gay person a big chance to be taken in and treated as he is.

Personally, if ever there will be vacancies in our firm for office personnel, I'd prefer gays because all of my four gay co-empoloyees are very diligent workers and we in the Management Team look up to them as model employees for their being so.

I am not gay but my suggestion is just keep it to yourself . There are so many steriotype people out there and being gay is still not acceptable in our society ., and why you wanna tell your boss about it anyways ?? it is your personal life . I dont wanna tell my boss that I have one night stands or I had sex on the same day with 3 different guys just because I felt none of them can make satisfy .. It is just your personal life .. just between you and your friends .. People out there are just bunch of asses ..you shouldnt open up to everyone

If you don't know something is wrong, you will still be punished for doing it,though not as severely as if you KNEW.So for all those people who doesn't know what God's will is concerning men being with men - In the beginning God created them male and female. For this cause shall a MAN leave his father and mother and cleave to his WIFE...God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gommorha completely because of their wickedness and most of it concerned "men leaving the natural use of the woman to work that which is unseemly...therefore God gave them over to a reprobate mind" bringing damnation upon them.Even with that being so,Jesus gave His life for the whole world and they are a part of the world.God's will is for them to realize & acknowledge that what they are doing is wrong, not act as if it is ok,otherwise you won't receive forgiveness of sins and be cleansed from all unrighteousness.I would pray for them to come to the knowledge of the truth(the Bible is God's Word & His Word is truth) so that they can come to salvation before it's too late cuz we can't boast ourselves of tomorrow,we don't know what it may bring forth(we may die or the Lord Jesus might come...).God's will is not that any should perish but that all should come to repentance & be saved.God bless you all.

You speak of being gay like it's being a leper or contagious or something.

Being gay is none of the employers business. It is not the prerequisite for employment. I think it's against the law to even ask sexual orientation.

What you're asking is like asking all married people on the job to reveal if they're married or not. It's like who cares who is what at work as long as they do their JOB. What a person does outside of work and with whom....is again no ones business or concern!!

I have worked with a couple of lesbians. They weren't hiding it, but they used self control in the public eye.I think that is the way it should be as we can't change their preferences. I was their boss. We got along very well. They were very kind to others also.

I worked with a gay couple and they were open about it. It really depends on the environment and what part of the country you live in. I thought they were quite ballsy to do it here in Virginia. LOL

nicely supposedly homosexuals have longer yet much less girth-y junk... so i'm shocked you do no longer see pencil penises showing by using emo dudes' pants... I propose come on, emos act greater womanly than gay adult males... there replaced into this one guy in my extreme college that wore pants so tight that i could tease him and tell him i could desire to work out that he had a 1996 quarter in his pocket, yet no penis...
