Unfortunately IVIG has a lot of not so nice side effects. Some side effects imitate the flu - headache, chills, weakness, nausea, muscle aches. You can also have rashes or other dermal effects. Sometimes slowing the infusion decreases the incidence of the side effects - sometimes it doesn't. We usually premedicate our kids with Benadryl and Tylenol. Why don't you ask your MD if that would be appropriate for your case? Wouldn't hurt.
Hope you are feeling well soon.

Why are you feeling weak and nauseated? I have given a lot of these infusions, mainly for people with thrombocytopenia with no known cause and havent ever really seen anyone feel like crap.

Haven't had it but know of people who have. That is a side effect.

Attached is more information from Hospital of Special Surgery.
