Love them, they are very well built machines, they are very over looked cause they dont have a Vtec- But they do have a VVT-i which if really looked at will produce almost the same if not over the HP curve than the Vtec it jyust has to be tuned correctly!!
1986-89- Celica -- 6.5-out of ten-- Low HP
1990-93- Celica-- 4.5-Body style not flowing
1994-2003- were the best years so fao for the celica!!! 9.0- good HP- Low Acce. avali.

I am obsessed with my Celica.. ppl think they're slow or girl cars but whomever u are if u drive one they're just full of fun. Taking turns, or just driving. It all depends what u like I have a 2000 toyota Celica GT and I have beat 2 Celica GTS.. the GTS is supposed to have 40hp more, but the torque cannot be the same. I'm rebuilding my Celi b/c a drunk lady totalled mine out in the front so I'm redoing it the way I wanted in the first place.. U have so many options as far as after market accessories just to make your celi one of a kind or just your own. There are so many ppl that luv these cars.. guys and girls.. me i'm way overly in love and obsessed!! :o)

They are cool and easy to mod. My friend has a turbo charged celica and it burned a M3 so don't say it's slow. Satistic never proves anything, It's all about skills, timing, and heart of a racer. LOL getting to deep anyways, Is a raelly fun car to drive and ohh yea you won;t believe this but the girl who drives the celica is a girl and she REALLY loves to race people in it.
