I have a 7 month old bull dog and love her to death, the best breed of dog i have ever owned and i have had a few different breeds, she is very smart and I have never had a problem with potty training her , she is the most comical dog, dose so of the funniest things , we are always laughing, I home all day and she dose take alot of work, sit, stay, lay down ect ect, because of the breed and size they need to be trained, they love children and are ever protective of them, they are not lazy, mine has lots of energy, as of most do, maybe when they are older they are lazy, you do have to watch and clean the skin folds around the face but it not that big of deal, there are a couple of bulldog chat rooms you can learn more from ( chat bulldogs is a good one) good luck

They are charming dogs, and as with any breed or mix, obedience training helps you bond with your dog and gives them confidence. They learn all these great new ways to earn your attention and praise, and bulldogs tend to be hams LOL!
Research the breed, though. They are delicate animals. Any breed with the shortened 'snoot' has to be kept from the heat. They also tend to have skin issues, and the folds on their faces must be kept clean and dry on a 2-3 day, if not daily, regimen.
They also tend toward chubbiness, which can be a real health issue. Even though they are not a high energy breed, nice substantial daily walks are in order to keep them healthy and in good muscle tone.
Below is an excellent reference site for info about the breed.
They are good dogs if parented properly.

All dogs are good if you train them well and give them attention and love. Bulldogs are not one of my favorite breeds because they tend to drool on everything. If you can stand the drooling and are willing to be RESPONSIBLE with the dog, they will be wonderful pets and friends.

Well, it all depends on what you like. Bulll dogs are not to difficult to take care of. They are affectionate, even if their faces do not show it. Bull dogs are easy to groom, and they do not require much exercise. They do require and okay amount of food. Bull dogs get along with children, and are mostly tolerant of other dogs. They can show signs of aggression if they are provoked. But like I said, it's whether or not you like the appearance of the dog. Well I hope that answeres your question.

They are very, very, very hard to housebreak, they pass gas and can have a quick temper. Feeding them food that has the main protein source of Lamb can help with the gas, but training is very slow. Good luck.
