Absolutely not. Call around and ask if the hotel has them in the room or if it's available to be put in the room. Every hotel is different, but I recommend a Springhill Suites, as it's cheap and usually DOES offer the refrigerator and microwave PLUS free breakfast!

Your best bet is to call the hotel/motel and see if they offer them. Chances are you probably won't get both in a cheap room... those are considered upgrade in most cases... but its always worth asking.

I've never been in a room without a refridgerator. I've never seen a microwave in a hotel then.

Nope, depends on the hotel if you get one at all. Motel 6 doesn't have them, I know that much.

Not all hotel rooms have micros or fridges. Best bet is to go to hotels.com or something similar and see which hotels offer that amenity (they usually have little icons describing room amenities).

Definitely not all! You have to check around. A continental breakfast is a nice perk as well. Rates don't always determine if these perks are included.
