I live in Arizona, Cheap labor doesn't help anyone but the employer. I have never in my 40 years of life known any thing to go down in price. the employers pocket any and all of the benefits of cheap labor. Do to circumstances beyond the control of many Americans, some Americans either choose to or are forced to work jobs such as car wash attendant. these jobs, as bottom of the barrel as some may think they are, should go to Americans. America has a great many factories over seas and in other countries here in North America. We as Americans are doing what we can to provide jobs for "strapped" countries. the jobs here in the states should be for legal Americans.

I live in Arizona. I do not see what you are seeing. I do however support the many arrests of illegal aliens in our state. Slave labor is not benefiting illegal aliens or Arizona residents. It is only serving to provide more money for Corporations, employers and of course Coyotes. Do you like the reports of the dead illegal aliens in our desert and the pollution that they cause? Also, this isn't really about a certain race, all illegal aliens regardless of nationality need to go to the back of the line and come here legally instead of breaking the law..

We understand why the employers want cheap labor, but the cheapness of that labor has driven down wages for our own people. Meanwhile, even if they pay their taxes, the taxes poor people pay doesn't begin to cover their cost in education and other services. We pay for that, and the education and other services are being ruined in the areas where illegal immigrants concentrate. That is why we limit poor immigrants to begin with. There have been way, way too many of them.

It is not cheap labor when I have to pay for their kids' education. They get in auto accidents and have no insurance, so the rest of us pay higher premiums. They fill up our hospitals and Emergency Rooms getting free care - who do you think pays for that? A lot of them get welfare - where does that come from? ME - the hard working taxpaying American citizen.
I don't believe we need the illegals. There are thousands of Arizonans who are homeless or on welfare who could do the same jobs.

I have lived in Arizona since i was two years old, and i can tell YOU, that we do NOT need illegals here for "cheap labor"!!!!!!!!! I have seen the ILLEGALS use and abuse our welfare system!!! I have seen them come here, have their kids, then because of the kid, they get everything HANDED to them for free. Except it is NOT really 'free", because the taxpayers are paying for it all!!! I have seen hospitals close, and others in danger of closing, because of all the illegals coming here, and running up millions in UNpaid medical bills!!! The COST gets passed on to taxpayers We do not, and never have "needed" illegals!!! They cost us a hell of a lot MORE than anything we could EVER save!!!.
